Posting & Safety Basics
- Use a clear title, accurate description, price and Newton-area pickup details.
- Do not post passwords, account numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive information.
- Meet buyers or sellers in a safe public place when practical.
- For high-value transactions, use traceable payment methods and keep records.
- Never send money merely to “unlock” a payment or claim a prize.
Promote a Local Opportunity
Businesses and organizations can advertise more prominently across NJTGO rather than relying on a basic classified notice.
