Florham was the country estate of Hamilton and Florence Vanderbilt Twombly from 1893 to 1955. It was acquired by Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1958.

Pre-Revolutionary House owned by Josiah Miller built around 1730. Later it was inherited by his son Major Luke Miller of the Morris County Militia and kept in the family until 1889.
