From 1903 to 1954 this was a one-room school, it now houses the Barnegat Light museum featuring artifacts, replicas, and photographs depicting the history of Barnegat Light and Long Beach Island.

Offers a panoramic view of Island Beach, Barnegat Bay, and Long Beach Island. There is also an Interpretive Center which details the history of Barnegat Lighthouse. One of the last remnants of maritime forest on Long Beach Island is found with a forest trail leading to an important resting and feeding area for migratory birds. Saltwater Anglers have access to fishing along the bulkhead. Picnic tables are located along the inlet. The park is an excellent area to observe birds.
